Got a question not answered here? Feel free to email us.

Q: When are bids due?
A: Bids will be filled on a rolling admission basis (i.e. first come, first served). The bid fee of $350 is due by December 17th, 2006. See our registration sectionfor full details.

Q: Do you have a refund policy?
A: Yes, we definitely have a refund policy in place. Sometimes plans change and players bail, and we want to make sure programs don't get caught in the lurch. You can check out the full policy here.

Q: Will there be food at the site?
A: We will, of course, have the standard fare of bagels, fruit and, water. However, we're attempting to go beyond the usual this year with amenities - though we've yet to work our details, there will definitely be some top notch fare.
We are also working with local food vendors to provide other amenities (such as on-site pizza, and we'll know more about this as the tournament approaches.

Q: Will there be concessions?
A: There will definitely be a pizza stand hosted by a local eatery. We'll update this site as we broker more amenities.

Q: Will there be tournament merchandise for sale?
A: Yes, there will be discs and apparel for sale.

Q: Will there be a party?
A: There will definitely be a party on Saturday night. We know last year's party was somewhat lame, so we're working extra hard this year to ensure that we bring it for TiV'07. Gauntlet thrown.

Q: I heard the fields are hard. Are they?
A: It's true, the fields are hard. The fields were particularly bad in 2006 due to the drought out West. We've been assured by Clark County that they're doing what they can to have the fields in better shape by February.

Q: Seriously, did anyone die last year?
Not to our knowledge.

Q: Is camping allowed at the fields?
A: Clark County Parks and Rec (the Vegas field host) does not allow camping at the field site. We are currently working with local hotels to provide great deals for both weekends.

Q: Will there be a tournament hotel?
Yes, definitely. We're locking down the rates for a hotel in Old Downtown, at the northern end of the Strip, right now. We'll post details to our travel page as soon as we have them.

Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Dogs are also not permitted, please leave Rover at home. Is that joke old?

Q: What happens if it rains?
A: According to the site managers, they have never had rain-related shutdowns. One might also take comfort in that the average rainfall in Las Vegas for the entire month of February is .45 inches. To give this some perspective, it would have to rain 4 times that amount in a single day to shut down most field sites.

Q: My team is in Division 2, can we win the tournament?
A: Yes, you can. Our brilliant format-guru, Allen Clement, designed a system that allows a team from either division to win TiV. Better yet, the format is also perfect for matching teams of parity. So no matter what, your team will be getting a number of quality games against teams of equal caliber.
